More than a dental practice.

The Dentists Inc. was founded in 2024 by husband-and-wife team Dr Muhammad Hanief Patel and Dr Zakiyyah Varachia. After meeting while studying dentistry at the University of the Witwatersrand, they shared a vision of creating a practice that reflected everything they believed dentistry should be: ethical, patient-centred, modern and accessible.

Having gained valuable experience in both the public and private sectors, they recognised the need for a practice where patients could receive exceptional care using high-quality materials, advanced equipment and evidence-based techniques — without the excessive costs often associated with premium dentistry.

The Ridgeway branch was the first step in that journey. Every detail was carefully considered — from the patient experience to the design of the practice itself. Many of the finishing touches were completed personally by the owners, reflecting a hands-on approach and a commitment to a welcoming environment.

As the practice grew, the opportunity arose to expand into Glenanda, allowing The Dentists Inc. to serve even more families throughout Johannesburg South. Today, their mission remains unchanged: to provide exceptional dental care while building genuine, long-term relationships with every patient who places their trust in them.
